Racing

Competitive Cycling

The home of Shay Elliot - the first Irishman to wear a yellow jersey in the Tour de France - our racing teams are made up of riders who love the thrill of competition and the buzz of pushing themselves – and each other – to their limits.

We compete in a variety of disciplines for both women and men. Our racers range from first timers trying it out, all the way up to competing at elite level.

Our racing groups depart from Santry Park every Saturday at 9.30am.

Open Race

Mick Lally Memorial

Every year Dublin Wheelers members step up to play our part keeping the cranks turning in Irish competitive cycling. We host 3 open races at the start of the racing season - the Mick Lally (C1) Ian Gallahar (C2) and Willie Marks (C3) Memorial Races

Touring

Leisure Cycling

If you are looking for a fun, friendly way to enjoy cycling, get fit and explore the beautiful scenery of Dublin and beyond, then look no further! As well as regular Saturday spins, we also run touring weekends away - in Ireland and to Europe - to climb as many hills as we can find.

There are a number of leisure spins departing from Santry Park every Saturday at 9.30am which vary by speed and distance – so you’re sure to find a spin that suits.
